I just wanted to point out that President Obama said he would not renew the tax cuts that the Bush Administration gave to the top 1%.  He is simply going to let them expire (2010, I believe).  He has been consistent with this statement throughout his campaign and presidency.  Believe me, I would have thrown 'em out the first day, and I do not think Obama is the greatest hope for humanity.  However, letting them expire shows he is  addressing the issue in a way that will cause the least amount of chaos.  He must be a good Chess player.
