I suppose the point is that KJ are just so fucking well *flexible*. They can do lots of different stuff, which only makes the modern era, which lacks flexibility/difference, that much more disappointing. Timewave? Yawnwave more like!

Oh no, let's not start another "they're not as good as they used to be thread"... what have I done?!!

Quite rightly. Off the top of my head there's Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, early moog woork
(and, that "Popcorn" guy). Maybe even a little Zeppelin (Page's theremin use, JPJones' organ work,
"In through the Outdoor") and some early Iron Butterfly tho' I'm sure there's even older stuff i'll discover one day.

I didn't mean to sound like I said Electronica started with KJ, but was just in the natural flow of what
the band has always done.

"Exorcism!"

You know, I'm not trying to be a cock here (though it'll inevitably happen anyway), but electronica
predates KJ to the Nth degree...

It'd be a shame if there aren't, since Electronica is a natural extension of what KJ has been doing all along.

I am not sure that there are many 'electronic' music fans on this list, but drum & bass would be a prime example. Helped by the likes of the Prodigy, Moving Shadow and early acid house :)

And, great observation on the 90s and bass/tanzmusik.
