I think 'early' PIL is another example of a band using instruments that still hadn't been taken full advantage of.
 The first KJ is laced with it.

The use of synth textures (during The Wait for example) came from Levene's playing in PiL I expect. Listen to Careering.

I've seen a picture with Jaz and a Roland, and the brand got mentioned in at least 
1 interview too (with Jaz?). He's also mentioned a Yamaha synthesiser DX7-II <--- that's a roman numeral 2.

Indeed. I think KJ even used old Roland gear like a 303 didn't they?

I am not sure that there are many 'electronic' music fans on this list, but drum & bass would be a prime example. Helped by the likes of the Prodigy, Moving Shadow and early acid house  :)
