I respectfully disagree. Bands like Soundgarden, Pearl Scam, Crudhoney, the
band that did "I'm free to do what I want", Nirvana, Offspring, etc. are
ver unappealing to me. The only thing I remember liking about the 90s was
Rancid, and of course Pandemonium.

The best thing to come out of the 80s was the 90s ;)

Yeah, I remember that dude (handsome guy w/long curley hair).
RE: the 80s, if you were in the USA it was UNPARALLELED for music:
Husker Du, Replacements, Jason & the Scorchers, Decendents, Minutemen, Meat
Puppets, Black Flag, Soul Asylum, millions of Boston bands (Dogmatics,
Scruffy the Cat, etc.), Gun Club, Dead Kennedys, Pylon, etc etc.
You're right about the clothes though, they were awful.

Holy Crap -- Love Tractor! I used to work with their bass player's (Armisted
Wellford) sister.

Ah, I miss the 80s.

One of my fave bassists was the guy from Pylon (early 80s--Georgia, USA)--he
had that high trebly bass that was great to dance to...
