[kj] non-album tracks enquiry - Anyone own any unmixeddemos from Pandemonium era?

Great info there, never realised that...must be where the mp3's leaked on the net have come from that source. So its only a UK promo cassette (not final release cassette) that contains Mathematics Of Chaos (Aotearoa Mix) on it?

We need Youth or Greg Hunter on here to leak original mixes, or definitely an Inside Pandemonium release would be very interesting indeed. Mathematics Of Chaos other than on promo besides, Four Stations Of The Sun and Another Cult Goes Down have never seen any sort of original mix release.

As much as they sound somewhat cheesily mid 90's chug rock now, I do wonder however if Millennium & Pandemonium would have been such the hits they became at the time without Cybersanks mixing.....

Early uk promo cassettes had the original Mathematics. I don't think it ever officially made it onto cd. We need someone with an original tape and good gear with which to transfer it.

I wonder if anyone actually owns a full wav from the original source, I mean it was never released on cd anywhere was it? Certainly not on the Alchemy and War Dance CD collectives.

I got all excited by that torrent and then on closer inspection realized the version of Mathematics... is an mp3. If anyone has a full .wav of the original Mathematics, I would love that - they indeed missed a huge opportunity not including the original mixes on the reissue. Maybe we'll yet see some sort of "Inside Pandemonium" set.

This had put me in geek mode, and I have tracked down a torrent that has collectively, including Mathematics Of Chaos original mix, all the Pandemonium Era Mixes.

After hearing how much better the original Millennium is, and knowing how much better the Pandemonium original mix is, I wished they would ahve put the originals on the remaster.

Strange as well how in the US on the original pressing of Pandemonium Album it didnt have the Cybersank mix of Pandemonium on it unlike the UK version, and the CD Single of Millennium had the original Mix on it whereas we were denied it in the UK.

Speaking of Cybersank, does anyone know anything about the remixers?....nothing crops up on Wiki, all I know is they did Pandemonium, Millennium and swedish rockers Clawfinger's "Warfair" remixes.

Hey Bob, yes, my mistake, it says Zoo on it so I have the US edition then.
Who'd have thunk it.

Now I have to find that original mix of Mathematics that I have somewhere.

OK enough nerdiness

Hi Neil. Check your CD again. If the CD is blue and the liner says Zoo on it anywhere then it's the US version; which featured the original Aotearoa mix on it (and the UK CD did not). I've never heard of a limited UK CD with Aotearoa on it but if I'm wrong please let me know!

Just looking at my UK CD original of the Millennium single cat no. BFLD12 and it doesnt have the Aotearoa Mix of it on there?!?!

1) Millennium (Cyersank Edit)
2) Millennium (Back To Orion Mix)
3) Millennium (Cyersank Extended) * Same version as on the Album
4) Millennium (23 Minutes To Midnight Mix)
5) Millennium (Dissolving Particle Reaction Mix)

So does this mean that there was a limited edition CD single with the Aotearoa Mix on it?

Just looking at my (UK) copy of the CD single - it has six versions of Millennium
on it and a version of Exorcism. The first track, the 'Aotearoa Mix', is the original
version of Millennium that was on the Pandemonium promos before they went
and replaced it with an inferior version. Honest, guv.

Certainly in the UK nope, The Millennium CD Single has the Cybersank Radio Edit and the full length Cybersank mix (which also appears on the album) but even the remastered album contains the full length Cybersank mix.

Has anyone got the original from the promo to kindly upload to rapidshare or anything?

The 'original' version of Millennium is on the CD single - is that the one
you meant? It was on the first promos of Pandemonium before they
went and changed it and put the cyber versions on instead.

Thanks for that, shame isn't it? Would be really interesting hearing that tune in its original mix. Same with Millennium, although Pandamonium has been released as an original version, as well as with the cheese rock overstabbings of the Cybersank mix, Millennium as far as I am aware has never been released without the Cybersank mixes.

Anyone close to the band that has obtained unmixed versions of Millennium, Four Stations Of The Sun and Another Cult Goes Down?

As far as i remember and as weird as it may sound there's no other version than that "Portobello mix", it's on the Pandemonium remaster and i have it on the Exorcism single on vinyl too.

I don't think it appears on the Pandemonium single, certainly not in the UK, only on the Exorcism 10" & CD, unless you mistakingly mean it also features on the Pandemonium album (remaster) . :-)

My question, however, refers to whether anyone knows if Another Cult Goes Down has ever appeared or leaked in a none remixed format. Certainly on both the Exorcism single and Pandemonium Album remaster it is the Portobello Mix.

If my memory serves me correctly I am sure there was a demo leak of Four Stations Of The Sun which wasn't a remix, so really I just want to know if anyone either has a leak or at least knows if Another Cult Goes Down exists out there other than in the bands archived master tapes unabridged. I would be interested hearing it as a demo.

As it states Portobello mix by the way, does anyone know who actually was behind doing the remix, I presume Youth? It does sound very dub.

Speaking of Another Cult Goes Down (I have always loved that track), do you, or anyone else know whether it has ever been leaked anywhere as a demo or in a none remixed format??? (not the Portobello mix)

>Another Cult Goes Down

>Four Stations of the Sun

>Drug

>Hollywood Babylon

>Mass

These all date from the Pandemonium/Democracy era, line up would be Jaz/Geordie/Youth and "drummer" (probably Dugmore)

ACGD was on the Exorcism EP, FSOTS was only released in a remixed form (can't remember what single it turned up with off the top of my head though), Drug turned up on the soundtrack for Mortal Combat 2, Hollywood Babylon was on the soundtrack for Showgirls and Mass the B Side to Democracy

>Cheers!

This wasn't a KJ track; it was a comedy series about a bar in Boston
