"Donnie Brasco," and "Dog Day Afternoon." He was also in some early 70s 
movie with James Caan and Marlon Brando and James Duval, I forget the name............... ;~D

They keep playing that movie over and over in my neck of the woods.  It is a great film, he was all over the map emotionally but he wasn't a cartoon..yet.   We sure have the 70s nostalgia thing going on.  
 There is such a contrast between the acting styles Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, and Jack Nicholson in the 70s to their mimickry of today.  I mean, I can't hear Al Pacino's name without wanting to say "BOOOYAH!!!", but he really was a great actor.  Le sigh.

Great scene, I like how he was both crying and speaking rationally just before that. 
That, and how he gets rattled in the helicopter with the judge - right before the judge

Doesn't know the bush doctrine?

How about Obama who is running for President not knowing about
UN policy? Recall the "lets go to the UN and go after Russia" while forgetting
that Russia has Veto Power?

Or when Barack Obama said, "I'm going to call in the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and give them a new mission, 
and that is to bring the war in Iraq to a close." 
The problem is that the Joint Chief of Staff does not have operational command of the U.S. Military. So he
has no clue how the gov't works as well.

Hmmmm....

I guess that sorta evens out the "best candidate" arguemtn ehhh?
