It really is a horrible and pretentiously written piece of shit. I was reading through a copy at my mom's place and it's pretty terrible. The whole controversy that was attached to it was so retarded. Oprah felt embarrassed about coming off like a trusting and naive sucker. I'm willing to assume that any given biography or autobiography is full of embellishment and/or outright lies. Life just isn't interesting enough to tell it like it is.

Who cares about James Frey? So he writes a little book, tells people  
it's a true story, Oprah buys it and tells everyone else to, then it's  
disclosed that it's actual not true. Big fuckin' deal. Think he's the
