Wow great pics matt!

 

Well those pics show a detail that may be the answer to why his tone is so
anemic - Marshall power brakes! Those devices suck the tone out of amp, and
are not often used by professionals because of this. 

 

Why oh why would he use those cheap pieces of crap?!

 

Why doesn't he use the ultimate attenuator if he is going to bother
attenuating his amp's signal?

 

Does anyone know if Geordie attenuated his Burman's back in the day?

These are my photos of his gear. I'm no techie but the main components are
Framus amps, Jansen speakers and effects-wise he uses ADTs he's had since
the very early days.

Not to sound all smartass, but why not at a gig someone just asking Geordie
or the band what his gear is? Unless pro guitarists are tight-lipped about
'trade secrets,etc.'..

Great to see all the pics Javier it was a blast hanging with you and all the
gatherers!

 

You will have to send me high quality blow ups of Geordie's gear!!! now all
us guitar freaks can see which BEL delays he uses. Couldn't quite read the
details ( model numbers etc.) from the audience at the end of the night. But
at least they were in plain daylight for a change.

 

To who ever was asking about the heights of the band members. Judging by
javier's pics of big paul with us at the backdoor I can say that I am a bit
over 6'1"  - so paul is right around there, maybe a bean or two more. Not
sure how tall "the stranger" is but my guess is he's a little over 6'2"? so
youth is probably in the 6'1" - 6'2" range as well. Btw, cliff is well over
the 6'4" range, as big as Alaska!

 

Question for Javier - how long after I left did youth show up?
