I reckon he's a bloody good guitarist too, whatever his tastes in makeup, wives and TV programs might be ;)

I have an excellent interview with him in a UK guitar magazine from a few years back. He briefly mentions Eddie Van Halen and Jimmy Page, but spends most of the interview talking about Joy Division, Robin Guthrie, Daniel Ash and Killing Joke, all of whom get enthused about greatly.

I used to have a bootleg of Jane's jamming through an impromptu version of 'Burning From The Inside', but it's long since disappeared, sadly.
