Javier,

I am so glad you could make it to New York to see Killing Joke and meet Gatherers as well. When Killing Joke tour again, they will be welcomed in Mexico by an even larger crowd than ever,
I am sure.

Indeed, it is an electric, mystical experience. You beg for more when the gig is over. You are totally insane when you are back home. You are tired, but too energized to sleep. And this feeling
lasts for days ;).. And you crave for more Killing Joke....

Big Paul makes a real difference in the band. No one can replace him, seriously.

Cannot wait to see pictures. We could not take any at the HOB, no cameras are allowed...

It's not that i just arrived, but i was pretty tired these past days (i even asked for two more days at the office). Besides there were nearly 800 gathering messages waiting for me in this inbox, so you may imagine. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but i just threw to the trash the very most of them.

I walked damn too much these past days in NYC and after walking all day, there were these two fantastic gigs that really blew me away and got me jumping and dancing almost all the time. I was really happy -to say the less- to finally see Killing Joke (and even meet the band!) and besides meet a very nice bunch of gatherers.

Both nights were excellent for me. I loved the first gig for the songs, and the second one for the energy and heaviness of the set (even when Pandemonium is not between my fave KJ albums).

BIG PAUL IS THE MAN! His drumming is outstanding, i even thought there could be some drum machine involved, but i had the chance to be at the soundcheck on sunday 12th and no, happily there was no drum programming at all. He's just great behind the drums: very energetic and very clean. I hope this guys stay together for a good number of years.

I'm not going to go deeper into the songs because it would take me so long (in time and space). You must understand this was my very first time in a Killing Joke concert, so everything was new to me. Still i will dare to mention only one song:

Turn to Red... holly shit!! i've always liked this track, but was not between my favorites, buuuuuut the way they played it live was from other world. AWESOME!!!!

The words can't describe how happy and excited i was (still, some of you were able to testify it!).

I want to thank all of you guys at the NY gathering, i don't want to mention your names because i'm afraid to miss someone, but you know who you are, from those of you that were next to me almost all the time at the gigs to the other gatherers that just approached to introduce yourselves and shake hands with me. Believe me, it was a high honour and pleasure to meet you all. I can't imagine how this trip to the gigs would have been without your very nice company.

I'm preparing to upload some pics, just give me a couple of days.

I hope i can join you again in the -not very far- future.

CHEERS!

PS: If "The Stranger" is reading this (or if anyone have contact with him): Could you please send me the e-mail of your friend Jennifer in order to send her the pics i promissed... i'm afrad i lost the little paper with her e-mail address.
