[kj] KJ in my videogame

Nah, that's clearly too easy. It would mean being bothered. Best to use the usual excuses of 'too
busy to look after my own kids', etc, etc.

I absolutely loath the patronising excuse making for care-fuck-alls.

There's a really easy answer, but which most parents can't stomach - get rid of the TV. It's all shit anyway.

Probably because in the average UK household there isnt room for a dedicated TV and video games room families have to compromise.

Kids don't want to watch what the adults want to on tv, and adults don't want the tv dominated by a video games console.

Surely you cant tell me you didn't have a tv/commodore 64/amiga/sega/nintendo or whatever and a tv and possibly a vcr in your room when you were a kid?

I can understand where you are coming from, in an ideal world we could all play big brother and monitor our kids activities, and bedrooms should be places for sleep and its proven that watching tv in bed is psychologically bad for kids. Surely there is a market out there for password lockable tv's so that parents can control viewing times, like they can with the internet.

Why do parents put that shit in kids rooms? Tellies, consoles, etc, etc. Mental.

ive met the rasta who makes GTA. A quiet unassuming guy training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu who was very perturbed when i told him i noticed a great improvement in my sons behaviour when i stopped him playing the game after removing his console from the room after a bout of unreasonable behaviour.

yeah, well... I'm over 30 and I still play them... having said that...

I was playing tonight the latest GTA4 (Grand Theft Auto) on my Playstation3 and as soon as I headed into one of the game's strip joints this song struck me with familiarity... due to it being so out of the blue it took me quite a while to recognize it... fuck me, it's Killing Joke! what surprised me even more was the fact that it wasn't any of their new stuff, it was Turn to Red... gotta say, fitted the mood perfectly...
