In all likelihood the God of Metal is disgusted that I don’t know my way
around the internal combustion engine, don’t have any grease stains on my
metal t-shirts, can’t remember the emoticon version of the metal horns, and
have bought a seated ticket to a rock concert (which is technically three
grades worse than sitting down to pee if you’re a male)…so he’s gonna set me
up only to punish me by sitting me in between her two gorilla brothers… Or
even worse she’ll be a Christian.

 

Perhaps I can avert my fate with a 666 recitals of the Lord’s Prayer:

 

Our Father, who art in Metal

Mellow be not thy name 

Thy cymbals, drums,

Thy will be done

On stage as it is on record

Give us this day a Metal head

And forgive us our backstage passes

Cos we forgot those

So trespass again…us

And lead us not into stagnation

But deliver us to evil

doing...(it was empty, I take it that was a bad thing and the reason why
her car was overheating, beyond that, dunno :). Meeting up for drinks
tonight and sitting next to her *grin*

I will be sacrificing a Rod Stewart fan at the next opportunity, in homage
to the God of Metal, and if it works out I may very change my name to
Brian Maiden.
