[kj] KJ in LA --

I saw Bauhaus through all tours first time round, and didn't check them out again in 98. I didn't want to be disappointed, like with most reunions, but I think I possibly missed out. I went to see David J's 'Silver for Gold' the other night, and enjoyed it. It's nothing spectacular, but nice to see someone doing 'art for art's sake', instead of the money. The Norich character would have made it worth it on its own. He is a crippled man, with a horse's head, in a wheelchair, moving around in strobe lights to music more akin to your more ambient aphex twin :)
The rest of the music is more earth sun moonish, with a hint of burning from the inside..

I do like the new Bauhaus, too :)

I reckon so. If you get a copy of Archive (concert dvd), the performance itself is obviously more youthful, lol, but
the musical performance comes across slightly tatty, as in they're losing interest in beng on-stage together.
Whereas the Gotham dvd shows them to be musically on-form. I love the lightbulbs too ;)
