I know there's the argument that things haven't *really* changed, it's just perception. The media
is also, obviously, keen to build a whole 'scene' around things, like a fucking morbid soap opera
to sell, thereby hyping it up by default. And.. there are always your mentalists - I remember a local
getting the meatcleaver treatment years ago. Fucking monsters!
 
I tend to think that crime is always there, but mutates & at the moment it's a particularly shitty
strain. Lots of people think they can 'get away with it'. Petty crims are up for killing, for fucksake!
It'll go eventually, but do we have to play it out, or will it be coerced? 
 
Certainly, there's a tiresome buzzing about the BNP again - of course, like the National Socialists,
they promise to cure all ills ;)

The kid looks like he was raised sucking lead, but I thought that went out of the water in the sixties..
 
I think we all have known at least one of these kids though, I remember this guy I went to school with going completely nuts and basically running into a party and smashing someone's head in with a hammer...I've seen another kid murdered from getting a nail through his head for being asian, this stuff has always happened, but I think the internets proliferate it nowadays...it's almost fashionable :/
