Well, let's also remember that Michael didn't tow the line in the VH  

brothers' war against Sammy Hagar. Michael's absence from the current  

incarnation could also be perceived as punishment for not falling in  

step (he toured with Hagar not too long back).

 

It wasn't just simply that Eddie wanted his acne-slathered newt in the  

band.

 

The people who get ripped off = the fans.
