I was there too and I certainly don't remember seeing The Queen there . . in fact the nearest person I remember seeing there was Liz Smith

I was at that Royal Opera House event and it was held in a relatively small side room. He certainly is talking it up to say it was commissioned by the Queen. Maybe in some technical sense, by default of his concert being performed at the RHO, it was commissioned by the Queen, but I doubt Her Majesty actually knew anything about it. 

I just realised the woman that Jaz was with on the day of the performance was probably his daughter, as it looks like her in the video.
