There are a lot of bands inspired by Discharge nowadays -- the whole
d-beat subgenre, and many of them aren't just going through the motions.
Arguably, World Burns to Death are doing this, but pigeonhoing them like
that isn't fair. Pisschrist. Wolfbrigade. Avskum. Disnihil. Disclose
until the singer died There are a lot of good ones not just
by-the-numbers ones. Arguably, Tragedy are also in this vein, though
fans would recoil at them being ainted as merely a d-beat band. Bastard
Sons of Apocalypse are PROUDLY a d-beat band -- they embrace t, say it's
a egitimte, vald type of music and that running away from the labe is as
dumb as trying to run away from saying you're metal or something. Also,
Inepsy of Montreal, who I've posted about before.
