OK, watching that Discharge footage has reminded me of a band I know that are doing that sort
of thing nowadays without just going through the motions in a nostalgic fashion. Fans on stage,
etc, etc. Of course, their love of Discharge shows ;)

Here we go:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0zasW1ost4 - Can't Play, Won't Pay (bitching about Earache).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4msVfdvnXnA - cover of Raw Powers' Politicians

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHJ4_UpS-4o <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHJ4_UpS-4o&NR=1> &NR=1 - World Keeps Turning (Death meets Hardcore)

The dvd they come from is incredible. 'Punishment in Capitals'. Adrenaline-tastic!

I think discharge were very influential on metal.
I had no idea d beat was something named after them. On paper it looks like a mutant polka.
Drummers on the list, is it 2 step, 4/4 or what?
