When he was massacring his own people, a lot of that was done with US 
support. Also, the targets of one of his pogroms were the Kurds, whose 
plight the US really played up in the lead-up to Gulf War 1. The Kurds 
are also being massacred by US ally Turkey, which has US air bases in 
its southeast. We should overthrow them, too, no?
