For example about straight edge going off in different clicks is...  The 80's religious vomit preachers, give me more of your money for God, Jim and Baker's son was a preaching stragiht edge dude. He even had a show on the movie channel IFC just awhile back.

Yep, they are! I first heard that song with my buddy in 1982 when we 14 and reading the lyrics and interviews it is spot on! It doesn't take a genius to know what they are about. That song also got Neo Nazis into Minor Threat thinking they were some Nazi Punk Band which is dumber than dumber! HA! But I hate that race card playing it is so old. 
 
The Straight Edge thing is his baby and I think a lot of it got out of control. Like straight edge kids beating you up  if you got a smoke or drink in hand. That is really punk let me tell you. But I guess you when you make a baby it at times turns into a monster.. Like The Beats or HC punk when it first came on the scene in L.A. and attracted Jocks and assholes.

That is a trip. It is like the Minor Threat song "Guilty of Being White".. Which basically accuses Ian MacKaye of being  prejudice.
