Totally Bette! :)

We just saw it, and to all The Gathers first thing is first... Do not bring
your kids who are 5 to it!

It is not a kid movie by far! The Joker is fuckin crazy the way he should be
and it is such a brilliant part for a man that has passed away... RIP. A big
swan song if I may add too. I do not think anyone can top this part of The
Joker. The story and dialogue is genius and The Joker's laugh is very
haunting!

Cheers,

~ Lonely Boy

Shit, I was just talking to someone today about the fact that this man will
be the James Dean of the 2000s. They didn't give Dean an Oscar, and they
want to make up (no pun intended) for that fact. The makeup is brilliant, he
doesn't have tons of scenes that envelop the whole movie, and he was a
riveting actor.
I just saw "Monster's Ball" a few weeks ago, and thought the movie was
destroyed after the death
of the Heath Ledger character.

I now what you are saying mate. In a sense it is like they are making him
into some kind of James Dean legend already considering it's his last movie
role. I have read 3 reviews of the movie... Time magazine, LA Times, and The LA
Weekly and they all say it is great. All of them pretty much sum it up to say
his performance is pretty disturbing in that anarchist way and haunting. We
are going to see it today and I will let you all know what we thought. I am
sure it will blow us away in a literal sense. ;)

Don't mean to diss Ledger, but all this press he is getting for his role
as the Joker...well, I'm gonna go see it I suppose and I'm open to being
proven wrong, but to me he looks about as scary as Robert Smith on a bad
hair day.

Just my 2c (although that brings my Opinionation balance up to $13 059
884.36)
