[kj] OT: AVI audio problems...

Most of the TV we potangas watch is downloaded & I occasionally have
audio problems with some .avi files - unsupported format etc.
Dunno if you're on a mac but I use Visual Hub to convert them.
Quicktime may well do it as well as some DIVx players & VLC.
Try playing the files using different media players?
Occasionally burning them to CD/DVD as a DIVx disc can remedy audio
problems too & IU think Toast & the like can export files with
different audio encoding.
