    These tracks are lush, heavy, chimey, hypnotic, serrated, orchestral, swooning, etc.ad nauseam; they kick ass. I think the only thing (maybe?) missing is having Jaz push & kick the music around and bring out an even louder bark from it all. 
    I think these are further proof that Jaz needs to stand back some more from the music like in the first 5 or so years when the other band members had more input in the songwriting.  
  And a suitable vocalist to match would be nice.

This is the geordie I LOVE.

throwing my fat-hat in the ring (tra-l-la-la la...) these don't need 
vocals & that was the problem before.
The guitar sings - puts words, melodies & emotions in your head.
beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

vocals would just detract from this - vocals bad idea.
his playing is so emotive, it speaks for itself.
make it a true Geordie album & just do instrumentals
it worked so well with Transmissions.
he should just get Timmy Bran & BPF/'ted, ted, teddy-ted' Parsons or 
Benny on board and do an instrumental album.

Also great to hear the originals without those awful cheesy lyrics etc.
