well to  me it wasn't that they were female but that the tonality and 
style of the voice was square to use an old term

Yeah, KJ + Gang of Four even seems feasible given that KJ's s/t '03 LP 
was produced by one of Gang of Four's members. And Go4 have that new 
material coming out. (Dunno if it'll be any good.) Now that would kick
ass.

Happy you like it. Me as well, a lot.
It would be really appreciated if someone sang something as vocals onto
the tracks :D Doesn't have to be vocals, it can be anything.
That 'cooperation' was his idea and I promise that if somebody does

I have to say, I'm only halfway through Chris Connelly's book, but it  
is quite enjoyable. He has none too pleasant things to say about a  
whole coterie of Gathering favorites (he compares Jaz to a drunken  
Greek waiter at one point), but it's written very conversationally and  
I'm really loving it. I almost feel bad for slagging him off all these  
years. He's a smart, funny guy. Shame about his voice.
