Last Friday Uncle Mick had his Yeti coated henchman and son of some famous old guitarist bring back every support act thats been on so far, for two songs. One acoustic guitarist and singer was great, if only I could remember his name. Mick came on and played guitar with one outfit.

Pete Wylie guested and was a breath of Scouse air for me, an expat of Liverpool these 20 odd years...(Did I tell you I was a Scouser? Gi's yer money - now.)
An element at the front decided they were 20 to 30 years younger than they now are, and were pushing everyone everywhere. The rest of us were as old as we are now, and objected. The bouncers had to deal with that hand to hand in the crowd. Yet another wierd woman turned up, touching Mick, knocking the mike stand over and being eliminated by the worlds friendliest bouncers (They are, they're great) whom she was thoroughly rude to. I reckon its the Notting Hill Housing trusts fault for harbouring an army of our generation who did too much of 'something' and spent the rest of their lives recovering.

Then Mick Jones takes them back in time, and out they come to the gig. Stoned, drunk, and wierd.

Apart from that, Mick read some Merseybeat poems (Yessss) and we all had a laugh. Great! the Carbon Silicon sets are getting tighter and more streamlined, probibly due to their month tour in the USA in March so far less of the brilliant rock n roll moments between Tony James and Mick on their Gibson/hollow bodied Telecaster.
Last one this Friday.
