[kj] OT Boycott the film Tropic Thunder

I've scratched my head (figuratively) every time I've seen the previews
for it, the only funny thing I've noticed about it is the apparently
unintentional resemblance Jack Black bears to Brian Dennehy. (I reckon
Dennehy needs to be sent up the way Shatner, Hasslehoff, and Norris have.
And Busey. Imagine having Dennehy for a Dad...you'd be fucked.)

Other than that I just don't get the joke, and comedies are generally my
favourite movies. If what they have shown on the shorts are the pick of
the bunch...hrm. I tend to agree with the comments about the offensive
portrayal of intellectually disabled people.

PS: Talking about offensive comedy, was pleased to see George Carlin
discussed in glowing terms during an interview on Letterman last
night...and even more pleased to hear how many albums he has done, I only
have a few.
