thats not nice when you wake up in the middle of a dream that way ;-(

maybe you were just over exhausted--perhaps you are feeling trapped by 
something/someone to do with k.j/family/friend--  but on a deeper level of 
your mind,that showed it self in your dream as you beeing trapped in 
lift,with the problem,

or maybe it was just because you are under alot of stress at work maybe(we 
all our btw) or did you have either to much wine b.4 sleep or banana or 
cheese? if so these can cause nightmare its a dijestivetive  related 
problem--not one of the deeper levels of the mind--so dont worry.

if you did not have wine/banana or cheese----then its just a phobia(an 
irrational fear of something--in your case ---elevators)    i had similiar 
dream(in elevator ect) many years ago--thats because i dont like crownds of 
people to much they make me feel trapped/i must have alot of 
freedom--elevators are ok to me,its crowds of people that freaks me out
;-D))))))

try a relaxing batn with" essential aromatherphy oils" b.4 sleep,lavendar is 
good,it helps peaceful sleep ok ;-D     and no cafeen/coffee or tea--herbal 
tea is  alright ;-)
