Well, there are people who passively like sports, and then there are "sports fans" -- people who eat, breathe, shit, shower, shave sports all the time.

Likewise, there are people who passively enjoy music, and then there are "music fans" -- people who are preoccupied with the listening, accumulation and ephemera of music.

I'm not saying they're mutually exclusive.

I'm just saying that "sports fans" more often than not tend to be meatnecked, slackjawed idiots.

This is not to say that all music fans are exemplary human beings, but they're probably less likely to be a slackjawed aped inclined to punch you in the jaw.

Ale

So Alex, are you saying that the sport following crowd and the music following crowd are completely separate?
Yes, there may be a few people who are only into either sport or music, but i would say that the vast majority of gig goers also follow a sport .

I'd agree with you if you were right.

Oh Alex, how could you so obtuse , its the same crowd that attend gigs and sporting events . There isnt a separate music crowd and a separate sports crowd, they are entwined .
Speaking of violence , if anyone is aware of an Arsenal supporter called Denton , he unfortunately died last night
