Flash gun or no flash gun, its still irresponsible to drive at such speeds whilst under the influence or drink and maybe drugs , and whilsr trying to flee from people on motorbikes . The French divers actions were no better than a teenage Joyriders actions . Mohammed Al Fayed should face up the fact that he is responsible for his Son and Diana's deaths , maybe he cannot bring himself to admit it .

The week after the crash, I heard a rep of Mercedes Bens on the radio calmly explain that if you drove one of their heavily armoured state-of-the-art cars down a ramp at 100mph, you were committing it to going out of control. Has anyone ever heard anything like that? I never heard or read it again. Few years later I watched Paul McCartney read poetry in a Shaftesbury Avenue theatre. I was about 10 rows behind several front rows of devotees, all with small cameras with integral flash guns. The aggression of these combined flashes, seen from behind, was so powerful that I came to understand what it must have been like for a man double over the French limit for booze in the blood (3 times the English) when the Paprarazzi fired their full-on Xenon blasters into his windscreen as he went down that ramp. No wonder one looked euphoric and the other scared. Diana has her head turned, looking hunted.

Keep Smiling...
