psychee--am i going senile ;Di could of sworn you said something early last week in one of your posts about maybe calling into the --inperial fox -centre point/(no,i am not refuring to raven gathering, that was the week b.4.)

i also remember you saying something about" you may not be long in that inperial fox, as you were seeing cardiace plus this support band that you wanted to see " sure it was the 8th you were refuring to-thats why i thought you were giving pistols gig a miss last thurs(know your proberly going to tell me it was friday 9th yeah ;P ) anyway, you just said that cardiacs are next week!! ok,but i am sure you originally said it was last week they were playing astoria, your miss print or my miss reading ;D))))) !!!!

concerning that other band you mentioned--there name slips my mind-all i remember is that they had an amusingly provocative name--whats there name again? anyways cannot find your original post,so this is from memory, plus it still feels like monday morning feeling, you know,i still feel tired after weekend activitys ;/

oh to be 18 again, and have all that energy i used to have ;P

melinda ps i wont be going to cardiacs,i already have other plans, plus an alice cooper gig at wembly on the sat 17th seen him live 8 times in past 4 decades-this is/alice cooper is not new to me,liked his stuff since i was 14 actually his gigs r always worth it,he works real hard,a true profeesional in his field /btw,did you know he was into golf? yeah i laughed when i herd, but i am half ways through this book he wrote,called......

monsters of golf--

its half about his of stage persona-plus how he got into golf ect/half about his music carrea--on stage and all the people that he knows or knew, the adventures he got up to with them,to name a few salvidor dali-groucho marks-peter sellers-frank zappa-elvis p-john lennon, jim morrison--jimmy page/robert plant, the list is endless, and the book is full of whit,he even dedicated a page to john rotton-giving him credict(john.r btw when auditioning for pistols, mimed an a.c track, that was playing on juke box in malcolm mcclarens shop--called--sex--back in 1976,plus john.r was into alices music ext, plus his mum was too--told you that b.4!!!) havnt ;)

melinda laughed so much in ages...he was at his book signing last monday,in london 5th nov,had a real decent conforsation with him,he is many things, that list is endless to,id put genius at the top of it though--hes a real nice guy,to put it mildly, and very humours also--way of topic here, thought id mention it anyways, there be someone interested

Cardiacs gig at the Astoria is this coming Friday (their tour starts in Brighton on Monday) - should be a few Gatherers at London gig - Blockheads is just before Christmas and I can't wait - only ever saw them live once with Ian Dury and I think it was the first Madness reunion weekend in Finsbury Park (1992?) - saw Jel today, he's been a bit busy what with young Freya and Tomas to contend with - but he didn't quite seem his normal self, mind you, hot on the heels of Raven's sad departure, I later found out that one of Jel's best mates died in the recent Heathrow T5 accident < http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7065864.stm > the guy was also in his mid 40's and Jel is going to his funeral tomorrow - kinda puts it all into perspective - Regards, Antoni

hay psychee--that replacement bus sounds grulling ;D))))) i got a lift from brix,so i did not have to suffer the indignity of the rickety bus/or worse still, that dreddid night bus!!!! yeah herd about tube closing at 10pm,nuts hay, wonder how there cope of last night of pistols gig, free for all and proberly a mini riot, scramble for bus ;D)))) well as i had not seen pistols play for 11 years, last time finsbury pk--96 with iggy supporting/i was well fired up for that gig on 8th/back again on 14th also, even if i have to walk home........ also saw them in late 70s-only once(thats was enough-thats all you needed then ;)--)one p.i.l late 70s and many times in 80s,ive kinda got that lot covered at least one each decade--wont mention all the places,be here for hours others wise ;) same goes for the damned-saw them twice in late 70s,and many times in in 80s--,once in early 90s at there xmas special do--then exsorsted that one,so gave it a rest, until 2002 just once, and to tell you the truth,i walked out half way through,i was so dissappointed in em,they played appaulingly, they raced through the tracks at neck breaking speed, and dave kept dissapearing of to see his wife and baby back stage,so i had to injure captain sensibles prolonged stupidity--hes ok,but not 20 mins--so i just left, swore i would never bother seeing them again--you have to understand, having seen them many times in past, theyve always delivered,i knew they were just not bothering at that gig i went to 2002,its as if they had lost heart--really..so i give them another go at forum 30th nov,i hope its good,as ive always liked majority of there stuff, although,as the years go by,from the first 2 album i only really still like neat,neat,neat---new rose--feel alright....as 4 rest, ive out grown them, prefuring the stuff that followed after the-ive just changed thats all and i lv--eloeese ect--uummmmm melinda ps how was cardiace gig on thursday 8th? thats why u didnt go to pistols on thurs hey ;) how was the blovkheads/ havnt you been yet? hey i auditioned to play sax for them once, but so did alot of other sax players!!!

Loads of tickets on Ebay going cheap for Sex Pistols at Brixton for Mon and Wed but the catch is that the tube station shuts at 22:10 (Mon-Thu) due to planned works. The old replacement bus service doesn't sound too appealing on the way home. Glad that I managed to catch them at the Shepherds Bush Empire in 1996, otherwise I would have seriously gone for the Friday night gig. Managed to catch both Buzzcocks and The Damned a few times over the past decade so will give them a miss this time (caught The Damned in a 200 capacity Welwyn Garden City pub back in April 2007 - excellent of course) - have though sorted out a real blinder today, big Phill Jupitus guesting with The Blockheads < http://www.theblockheads.com/index.php > on their 30th anniversary tour on my birthday !!!
