There were tons of inspections done in Iraq. Every time the inspectors
came back with nothing, they were chided by war hawks that the weapons
were really just out there, the inspectors weren't looking hard enough.
Of course, it turns out the inspectors actually did a damned fine job.

Bush brought up North Korea along with Iran and Iraq as the Axis Evil,
so it's extremely relevant. None of these countries supplied 9/11
attackers -- two US allies did: Egypt and the theocratic monarchy of
Saudi Arabia, ruled by one despot that doesn't seem to merit an
overthrow the way Saddam did. The point was, North Korea and Iran
UNCONTROVERSIALLY have WMDs, but weren't invaded. Countries that have
them aren't, because they can use them.

Remember, Iraq was also invaded because we care so much for its people.
Except Americans hate Arabs. But they wanna liberate them, because they
deserve freedom, like any good human being. Yep, love of Arabs is a real
passion in US society. Folks here in Texas would die for Arab citizens
any day! That they live over huge energy reserves is just a coincidence.

Speaking of ploys, your ploy basically seems to be "facts be damned,
I'll think how I want." A lot of that sort of deeply entrenched
ideological nonsense here in the US, so I'm used to it. "Fuck the facts,
I'm thinking this way anyway."
