Bonus features? Hmm, I didn't watch them. I was so miffed by the
missing footage I gave the DVD away in disgust.

They used a real armless guy for that scene...also a real legless guy
for the scene in the garage where the zombie jumps on him (get the bonus
features!)

I LOVE that remake. I can take or leave Romero, but that remake
was fuckin' brilliant. The opening titles with Johnny Cash's Man Comes
Around, the first 10 minutes or so of non-stop action, the duel ending.
Fabulous. I was most impressed by something I thought was going to be
average. The speedy undead were far scarier.

I saw it on Sky Movies and then bought the DVD. However the DVD
was missing about 10 minutes of vital stuff. What a swizz. My
favourite bit was missing (a zombie with one arm comes speeding towards
camera).

Cheers,

Janean

I'm a Romero fan--Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead
(the 2004 remake is much different--ok, but much different feel), Day of
the Dead (possibly the explic itly goriest movie ever made), and Land of
the Dead.
