Have hard a lot about -- but haven't heard -- The Coup. Aren't they 
social/political-oriented hip hop?

They're the ones who eerily were about to release an album that showed 
them blowing up the WTC about a month or two before 9/11 actually 
happened, so they changed the LP cover. Or something like that.

Also, some Slayer album came out exactly on the day of 9/11 and it had 
some oddly coincidental title or theme.
