Saw both these bands live . .

Murder Inc were interesting live . . seeing Atkins & Ferguson drumming
together was quite a sight. The "International" gig there sounds like the
Manchester gig supporting the Sisters of Mercy . . shame they haven't got
the Subterrania gig from a couple of nights later.

Damage Manual were a bit of a mess live to tell the truth, saw them twice .
. Cambridge was the aural equivalent of going through a washing machine spin
cycle, very very loud with no crowd to absorb the sound (apart from a bus
load of small Japanese children for some reason). London was a better sound
and also had the comedy element of Wobble playing the whole gig laying on a
sofa with his back to the audience (every now and again you could see his
hand waving to acknowledge his existence . . )

I shall have to check these gigs out . .

Marc.

if anyone is interested there is live material available for damage manual
and murder inc on emusic.
the damage manual live in columbus is pretty good sounding with some
interesting riffs from geordie on expand and stateless.
they forget the second verse in sunset gun but it still works.
also you can hear the soundman at times, "guitar jim, guitar", "keyboard,
keyboard" which is sort of amusing.

anyways if you are a geordie fan you will probably dig it.

as for murder inc, the set i downloaded "international" has pretty good
sound and playing when they are all in time with each other.
