[kj] Why KJ2003 doesn't suck ...

Democracy just sounds to me like a bunch of filler
with a few really amazing songs that got marred by
shitty production. I do enjoy it though, it just
sounds to me like a band who had run out of steam. 03
does have its fair share of filler as well, but it's
also got a certain immediacy to it that even the good
songs on Democracy lacked. I'm not really sure why i
singled that album out or why i'm comparing the 2 cuz
there really is no point. What i REALLY mean to say
about 03 is: Knowing full well that all of their
REALLY amazing albums are way way in the past and will
never ever be duplicated, it's nice to hear an album
like 03 which, while nothing even close to the genius
of the early stuff, still sounds like a band who gives
a shit. Yeah, that's it. i think.
