On one of the remixes of Exorcism there is a echoey shout that is at odds soundwise to the rest of the recording. I think that is all that was usuable.

Apparently it cost them $1000 in a cash bribe to get in there.

Regardless whether it happened or not, it's a great story.

So there were no instuments down there? Why do the mixing down there? And 
why record down there in the first place? How long will it be before KJ 
history is re-written and Hossanas will have been recorded in Baghdad?
   I would say that Jaz visited the Pyramids and though " what a great place 
to record a song......" and a "We would like to........." turned into a "We 
did............."
