if you're using windows: double-click your volume control in the system
tray. go to 'options' then 'properties'. select 'recording' and then 'wave
out mix'. then any recording software, such as Adobe Audition, should work.
you may need to adjust the wave out mix volume. even 'windows sound
recorder' will work if you set the volume to max. set the wav to 44.1kHz 16
bit stereo by clicking 'file', 'properties', 'convert now' and scroll down
to it. i just tested it on a dvd that way, the volume was a bit low but it
worked.

obviously then all you need to do is convert the wav to mp3.
