Who do I have in the studio to tickle your musical taste buds this week!

Manchester's (and now Rome's) famous son, MORRISSEY is back with a stonking
new album "Ringleader of the Tormentors". He's on great form at the moment
and many have said that it's down to his recent relocation to Italy's
capital city. He'll be performing tracks from this new album and banging his
giant gong from time to time.

The last time Carl Barat was on Later he was here with his former partner in
crime Pete Doherty as The Libertines. But now he's back with his new band
DIRTY PRETTY THINGS and life is sweet for the charming Mr Barat. With his
rock 'n' roll chums Carl will be performing their catchy hit "Bang Bang
You're Dead" along with a few more tunes from their debut album 'Waterloo to
Anywhere'.

Folk legends, DAVID CROSBY AND GRAHAM NASH, first met at Joni Mitchell's
house back in 1968, when David was Joni's boyfriend, but then Graham nicked
Joni for himself. Luckily for us though all is fair in love and war and the
two remained firm friends. Their ability to harmonise is the envy of most
musicians and they recently provided harmonies on David Gilmour's latest
album which I hope you caught on Later last week. But if you did miss it you
can now watch the show online! More details are below. David & Graham will
be performing two classic tracks from their repertoire "Guinnevere" and
"Immigration Man".

Who else do I have for you this week!

I'm excited about this next bunch of Oxbridge alumni, hailing from West
London, HOT CHIP, are a five piece with an infectiously catchy bundle of
tunes. The band has been creating a stir in the States as well as back home
in the UK, where they've toured with the likes of Mylo and Goldfrapp. Bred
on a musical diet of Prince, Brian Wilson and Dr Dre, they've just released
their eagerly-awaited sophomore LP, "The Warning".

I always warmly welcome my next guests back to the studio. OJOS DE BRUJO are
old friends of the show and they always bring a touch of sunshine to
proceedings with their clever mix of Latino beats, rock and ragga. They'll
be performing tracks from their brand new album "Techari"

Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter INDIA.ARIE is probably the only
person in the room to have sung with Stevie Wonder and it fills me with the
best kind of musical envy. India.Arie recently released her third Motown
album, entitled "Testimony: Volume 1, Life and Relationship. She'll be
performing a beautiful track called "Summer".

Next week I'll be rocking out with PRIMAL SCREAM, RAY DAVIES, JOSE GONZALEZ,
ROSANNE CASH & OMAR.

TUNE IN FRIDAY 2nd JUNE on BBC 2 at 11.35pm

Love,

Jools x
