the original ideal, as stated in the ad for a guitarist/bassist was, 
"total exploitation".

they exploit each other, as well as outsiders, very well wouldn't you 
say? so the answer is  ....*yes*
however,* they seem to have no idea how to exploit the industry for 
their own wealth* unless the monetary sob story every five years or so 
is a bilk job
