[kj] OT: women & working from home

Well, there goes my coffee all over the desk again...!

At an old PR job I would sometimes work from home during a 3 - 6 a.m.
Web launch, where we'd be on conference call with some 15 or so members
of the client company. I'd wake up, log on, join the call, then shower
and dress for the "normal" work day after the launch was complete.
During one of these calls, when my wife came up to me before leaving for
work, she announced to me (and everyone else on the call whom I'd never
met in person), "Must be nice to work in your underwear!" I never did
hear the reaction because I immediately escorted my wife out of the
room, but I always told myself my anonymity was preserved by the sheer
number of people on the call.
