  to tell the truth, I never could understand what was so great about the Beatles (except for their 1st couple of records--good pop--and their last one "Abbey Road" had some good stuff. I also cant' see the greatness of the Who--sounds like generic stadium rock to me. The Stones, on the other hand, are like the punk classic rock band--great energy, swagger, and a controlled sloppiness. CCR did some good stuff too. The rest of "classic rock"--snoozer!
