yeah i was wondering about that, could someone maybe expand on that statement and tell me which of his records i should check out?

  umm... i think you are wrong, alex! can you really invent a power chord? it's the single most simple chord that can be made. it'd be like inventing a scale or a drum roll. maybe they hadn't been used much in music before he started, i don't know.
