Oh, just got to your posting, Alex.  Behind the pace as ever, me.  Yeah, a lot of it was/is unutterably dumb, but then I thought this was the beasuty of it really.  Cartoon rock has its place (plenty of possible responses to that statement, I'm sure) and I enjoy its unashamed ... errr ... dumbness ever now and again.  Po-faced serious music is my thing, really, but there's a time and a place for everything.  Well, nearly everything.
 
What's the statement "There's no such thing as good or bad music, just music that that you like and music that you don't like ...".
 
Actually, okay, that's pants.  There certainly IS bad music...
