Fair comment matey - sadly I think they made a snap decision 'cos Raven
has seen a few bootlegs for sale, or whatever - I mean, if you're
not going to release that much in the way of live stuff, of course the
bootleggers can fill that niche. It's backwrds & draconic & not really
what I expect from KJ, but oh well... ;)

The value of making copies became apparent to MonkeySoft when they found
that 'everyone' seemed to have a copy of Win95. MS allowed it to happen
as they knew more & more people would be weaned onto the Windows platform
& only after it took hold of the majority of desktops & became the 'norm',
did they start to get baity about copies... because they could. Shame KJ
can't see the value of a bootlegging network in spreading work they'd
never release (hence make a profit from) anyway! Doh!

Formula: you don't give it us > we get it ourselves :)

I think Mik was asked to stop selling his VCDs as part of the general
clampdown they seem to have done.

I very much doubt it was anything to do with any individual member of this
list. Perhaps Mel might consider sueing any contemptable shit stirrers for
defamation.
