[kj] Long weekend in London!!

Thanks Juliet - I was hugely knackered after doing it though!

Cycling to & from gigs sounds quite a good idea actually. No taxi fares, and it would probably reduce my drinking at the event. Only problem would be getting really cold on the way home after becoming drenched through in the pit.

After the marathon in April, I'll be stepping up the triathlon training for a half-ironman I'm hoping to do in September. 40 miles each way should seem easy once I get into that training schedule...

WOW Jane! I am impressed. I told Jason because he's got a bit of a thing
about Paula Radcliffe, and he reminded me of the fact that he cycled
from Reading to the London gigs in 2003. Went to the gigs, hung around
to see the tour bus after and then cycled home again. That's about 40
miles each way!

Christ, you ran 18 miles before the gig?
Most of us had trouble getting from the Goldhawk to
the venue...
