[kj] Gang Of Four tonight....last night

I'll just echo everything said by Brian, Sean & Graham. Sunday's gig was a top night out!! Unlike everyone else though, I went in with very little knowledge of the band, (somehow they passed me by back in the days - don't know why/how?!?). Still, I always go to gigs with an open mind, and I was blown away with how good they were, recognised more songs than I expected to, (and soon joined the 20 somethings bouncing around at the front - even if I didn't know many words).
 
Sorry I missed you Sean, and sorry if I didn't make much sense Brian & Graham - a couple of alcopops, and my powers of speech seems to evaporate these days.

..........I,ll have you know i were only 37 last night!!!

They were absolutely blinding,brilliant sound,real crowd pleasing tunes-aye,was all 20 somethings down the front,who knew every song word for word-I did go in once or twice to find me missus,bopping right at the front!!!!!

must say too,first support band,didnt catch too much of them,infrasound i think,but the second support were top,THE DEPARTURE-very chameleons sounding,dual delay guitars,(one guy looked like eddie izzard!),blondie style disco synths,only thing marring them was a pretty crap sound,but i,d certainly see them again,well worth catching!!!

wish i had pennies for more G.O.F gigs,i tell ya.....................
