[kj] best venue

Yeah, well now you've got me started.... my old friend Jo came round
tonight. We were in it together. I asked her if she could contribute any
stories about Dave Wizard, and she came up with one I had totally
forgotton, which was a bit more mundane than the last but quite typical,
I think. That was when we lived in Drayton Park which was used as a car
park for Arsenal footie games. Well, Dave turns up for us one day in his
old mini, with his dog, on a match day. Me and Jo pile into car with
Dave and dog. Dave proceeds to light a spliff and then drive the wrong
way up Drayton Park which has become a one way road due to the heavy
parking, as it does every match day. Surprise, surprise - heavy police
presence - we get stopped for driving the wrong way up the road in a
mini full of smoke. Fortunately, controlling a football match seemed
more important to the police at the time.

I didn't work for MD or Rough Trade. I just went to loads and loads of
gigs.

hi juliet....bloody hell,u had a bit of an ordeal with the wiz hay, good
on u
4 not succuming to his wiked ways....outragious hey,he should of known
better--the posative point in all that is,u must b a very strong person
mentaly other wise he would of succeeded in his plan with u--i did not
realise u lived near him/i only saw him a few times around the jokes
place,he never gave me any hassle--well with/jaz/youth gordie there,he
would
not of got far,i found the wiz ok i suppose, although i always senced
something rather strange about him,a kind of warning in the gut that
says....dont go there...
..keep a healthy distance....so i always did.
btw,i thought that may be my mind was playing triks on me as well, but
neil
perry kindly put up an artical concerning" pink military/that infact
they
did play with k.j.,and shok horror,k.j.was the support there" this was
10/80,i remember seeing a few numbers, then i went some where else( if u
want
to know where em me of line ok) oh,something else, did u used to work 4
m/d
or rough trade bak then? i also found my ticket from that gig, alll the
bands
were not listed who played,so neil has been a real treasure 4 bothering
to
put artical up.....oh memory lane,i lov it
