[kj] SCARIEST record...

The one by John Cale/Velvet Underground comes to mind. Where the guy
posts himself to someone in a big box. I found that very creepy.

I find some modern music scary. I found Eminem very scary the first time
I listened to him. I listened to him on a tape that belonged to my then
12 year old son. I find the gangsta rap stuff quite disturbing.

The other son listens to Cradle of Filth which I found scary too.

I am now used to it. I remember when I bought 'Stations of the Crass'.
My mother found it and wept. She was really scared. I couldn't
understand the fuss and bother at the time. But then neither could I
understand why she was upset about me experimenting with drugs.

That's funny, i was gonna say Plague Mass as well.

Elegy by John Zorn is pretty disturbing in places as
well.

Dogma by Asterisk is pretty scary in it's piercing
relentlessness. Very fucking heavy.

Of course, nothing can top how scared i got after
hearing Reign in Blood by Slayer for the first time.
All of 14 years old. i thought they were dead serious.
Took me awhile to put the tape back in and listen
beyond the first half of Angel Of Death.
