There is a difference but it all picking at straws. Ive read reports
which implied that 'invasion' could have been averted just as the
Falklands invasion could have been stopped.
For the made up evidence i personally believe they were all to ready
to believe the bleatings of the political refugees. But whether it was
to stop a tyrant or WMD, the act of aggression was wrong and
hypocritical or will they help Tibet now? So the argument is imo
flawed.
A state will look after its own interests and the interest in that
area were to ensure a long term future that would allow energy
resources at a level that would allow the prosperity of the state to
continue. Diplomatic approaches had proved futile and with one eye on
the future the long term interests of whatwe hold dear were taken.

Personally, ive done the peace camps, had my head smacked by
truncheons at a variety of peace, miners, Poll tax etc demonstartions.
I saw the whole socialist movement give up on the soup kitchens when
the miners strike was lost and many peacenicks left as the fashion
changed.

as it stands right now with the election, its a farce but a farce that
will netherless determine our existence and its quality. For that i
want to see a stronger NHS, better education and a more socialist
style approach.

I want to see resources in the communities to give the youth more
oppertunities rather than simply penalising them for breathing.
i dont want this place to be a refuge for the likes of Mark Thatcher
and his ilk.

I dont want half the sh*t that comes with it either, but im going to
get that whichever one is in power so im going to look at what can at
least give me and the people i care for a better future. id love to
see Blair get a bloody nose, but im not going to spite myself to do
so.
