Wire have a couple of compilations out, but frankly as with Killing
Joke in many ways it would be best to hear one of the records from the
main catalog. On that basis, the CD+DVD they just put out, _Wire on
the Box: 1979_, seems like it ought to be for the initiated, but that
set wouldn't be a half-bad introduction.  So far it's exclusive on
www.posteverything.com, but it'll have wider distribution in a few
weeks.  If you're a fan of that period, and you didn't know about that
release, now you do.
